AI-enabled work transformation

We turn AI ambition into measurable business impact.

Operators working alongside CEOs, COOs, CFOs and CHROs to identify where AI changes how work gets done — then prove it live and scale what works, with the operating model changes that make impact stick.

The problem

The gap between AI ambition and measurable business impact.

Most organisations aren't short of AI ideas — but they lack clarity on where AI can create meaningful value, and how to turn it into measurable productivity, cost, and workforce outcomes at scale.

This isn't just a technology problem — it's about how work is designed, executed, and scaled.

Our approach

Three stages. Sequenced for speed to value.

We don't write strategy decks and walk away. We work alongside your team to identify where AI creates value, prove it in live environments, and scale what works — with the operating model changes that make impact stick.

01

Identify where AI creates value

A short, fixed-scope diagnostic that maps workflows, identifies where AI shifts the unit economics, and prioritises by value and speed.

  • Workflow & value-stream map
  • Prioritised use-case backlog
  • Feasibility & data readiness assessment
  • Costed 90-day delivery plan
4–6 weeks · Fixed-scope diagnostic · From £8,000
02

Prove what works

Embedded delivery team designs and ships your first AI workflow live. Real users, real data, real workflows — measured against pre-agreed baselines.

  • AI workflow live in production
  • Integration with your operational systems
  • Measured impact vs. baseline
  • Scale-or-stop decision pack
8–12 weeks · Embedded delivery team
03

Scale & embed

Proving one workflow is the start. Scaling across teams, redesigning roles around the new capability, building the capability to keep evolving.

  • Scaled deployment across function
  • Redesigned roles & operating model
  • AI governance & safety framework
  • Internal capability + playbooks
3–6 months · Programme + advisory

The outcomes we deliver

Tied to productivity, cost, and workforce impact.

Every engagement is measured against pre-agreed baselines. If we can't measure it, we won't promise it.

Internal capability built — not consultant dependency

Why Greyhound

We focus on one thing.

Helping organisations turn AI into measurable workforce and business impact — clarifying where to act, proving what works, and scaling it.

01

HR & workforce depth

How workforce, people operations and workflows function in practice — not retrofitted consulting.

02

Strategy → execution

We design, build, and deploy AI-enabled workflows — not just recommend them.

03

Commercial rigour

Every use case tied to measurable productivity, cost, and workforce outcomes.

04

Capability, not dependency

We build internal capability so organisations can scale and sustain impact.

"Most of the AI work in HR right now is theatre. Decks describing transformation, pilots that never leave the sandbox, vendor demos solving problems nobody asked about. The programmes that actually move the business start from how work gets done — not from the technology."

Services

Where we help.

AI-enabled work transformation is our flagship offering. Beyond it, we support the broader operating-model and workforce priorities that determine whether AI investments actually move the business.

Weeks 1–6

Phase 1 — Discovery

Workshops with your senior team. Workflow mapping at the task level. Data and operating-model readiness diagnostic. A prioritised pipeline of two to three high-value use cases.

Weeks 7–18

Phase 2 — Live deployment

Embedded team designs and ships your first AI use case in production. Real data, real users, real workflows. Measured against baselines. A clear scale-or-stop call.

Months 5–9

Phase 3 — Scale & embed

Roll out across teams. Redesign roles and operating model. Build internal capability through training, playbooks and ways-of-working. Governance that holds.

Operating model & org design

Operating model redesign, team architecture, and service delivery transformation across functions.

AI technology & readiness

AI readiness diagnostics, vendor evaluation, and technology roadmaps grounded in operational reality.

Workforce productivity & capability

Productivity diagnostics, role design, and capability planning tied to commercial outcomes.

Leadership advisory

Fractional transformation leadership and strategic advisory for C-suite leaders mid-change.

Plus the tools, not just the talk

We build what's needed.

Most consultancies stop at the strategy deck. We build, ship and run the AI-enabled workflows that prove it works — using your data, your systems, your people.

Where vetted tools already exist that fit, we use them. Where bespoke is the right answer, we build. No vendor procurement loops. No "build a vendor selection roadmap" diversions. The right tool, when you need it.

One example

Where our work touches People functions, we maintain a curated portfolio of vetted HR tech — chosen for measurable impact, ready to plug into your workflows.

How we engage

What working with us looks like.

Three stages, each with its own scope and outcome. You can stop after any of them. Most engagements start with a 30-minute discovery call.

Step 1 · 30 min

Discovery call

  • A working conversation, not a pitch — where work happens, where AI could shift the unit economics
  • You leave with a clear view of whether Stage 1 makes sense for you
  • No cost, no commitment, no follow-up sales sequence
Step 2 · 4–6 weeks

Stage 1 diagnostic

  • Workflow mapping at the task level, data and readiness review
  • A prioritised use-case backlog with feasibility, value and speed-to-value scores
  • A costed 90-day delivery plan you can take to your board — even if you don't engage us for Stage 2
Step 3 · 8–12 weeks +

Live delivery & scale

  • Embedded team ships your first AI workflow in production, against your real data and users
  • Measured against pre-agreed baselines — scale-or-stop decision pack at the end
  • Then: scale across teams, redesign roles, build internal capability that holds

Common questions

Before you book the call.

The things most CEOs, COOs, CFOs and CHROs want to know before getting on a call with us.

Is the discovery call a sales pitch?
No. It's a genuine working conversation — 30 minutes — where we look at how work gets done in your context today and where AI could realistically create impact. If there's a clear way to help, we'll say so. If there isn't, we'll say that too. Nothing to buy on the call.
How are you different from a Big 4 firm?
Two big differences. First, we deliver — we don't just write strategy decks. We design, build and ship AI-enabled workflows in live environments. Second, you get senior practitioners doing the work. No partner sale followed by junior delivery. The person you meet is the person delivering.
Is this just HR transformation, or broader?
Broader. Our flagship work is AI-enabled transformation of how work gets done — wherever the highest-value workflows live in your business. Our team has deep HR and workforce credibility because that's where we've operated, and many engagements touch People functions. But the unit of work is "a workflow that creates value when AI changes it" — that can be in operations, customer service, finance, procurement, sales enablement, or HR.
What does a Stage 1 diagnostic actually involve?
A 4–6 week engagement that maps your workflows, data and operating-model readiness at the task level. We identify the highest-value AI use cases for your specific context, build the business case, and deliver a costed roadmap for Stage 2. From £8,000, scoped by organisation size and complexity.
Do you build the AI yourselves or partner with vendors?
Both, depending on what's right. We layer AI capabilities into the platforms you already pay for where that's the fastest path. Where bespoke is needed, we build — including custom AI agents and workflow orchestration. We're tooling-agnostic; the right tool is whatever delivers measurable impact fastest.
What happens to data and IP?
Your data stays yours. Your IP stays yours. All engagements are governed by an NDA before discovery starts, and any AI workflows we build run on your infrastructure and your data — not ours.
Are we a fit for what you do?
Most likely yes if you're a mid-market to large-enterprise organisation with active C-suite sponsorship and you'd rather have a working AI workflow in 12 weeks than a polished strategy in 12 months. We've written this up in more detail on our Who we work with page — including what makes engagements work and where we're probably not the right fit.
We're not sure if we're ready — should we still book?
Yes. The call is specifically designed for organisations still working out where to start. That's the most common position — and the most important moment to get clarity. You don't need a programme already underway to have a useful conversation.
